When I’m not shooting weddings, I occasionally have the opportunity to volunteer my time working alongside other vendors. I spent Sunday with Noelle Davis, owner of 73-Productions, photographing a lemonade stand birthday party.
It’s amazing how life works sometimes. I actually met Noelle when I was in elementary school. She was my 8th grade journalism teacher, and we just reconnected a month or so ago after I saw her posting in a Wedding Swap Shop group on Facebook. Life has definitely changed in the almost 15 years since I was in her class, but I’m so glad we had the chance to reconnect! I’ll actually be working with her on a styled shoot later this summer, so stay tuned for those photos!
Noelle currently works as the event coordinator for Mallinson Vineyard and Hall, where the party was hosted, in addition to her own work with 73-Productions. She does incredible work! The best way to describe this party is cuteness overload. Talk about a girl’s dream come true! All aspects of this party were absolutely adorable.
Want to know the best part? Instead of gifts, each year the birthday girls ask guests to bring an item to donate to a charity or organization. This year, guests brought stuffed animals to donate to the Sugar Creek Fire Department. These girls are so incredibly selfless!
Thank you Noelle and Mallinson Vineyard for asking me to photograph this incredible birthday party!
